Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

How Wild Dragon protects its original artwork, what you can and cannot do with it, how genuine resale works, and how to report copying.

Effective date: 13 September 2026

Our designers draw the artwork on our T-shirts. This page explains who owns that work and the rest of the material on wilddragon.co.in, what you may do with it, and how to tell us if you think we have copied somebody. Bharat Sharma, trading as Wild Dragon, publishes this policy.

The short version

  • We own or control the original artwork and brand material on this website, unless a product page says otherwise.
  • Buying a product gives you the item. It does not give you the design.
  • You can use your T-shirt normally, and you can resell a genuine, unaltered one where the law allows it.
  • You cannot copy, redraw, digitise, reprint or sell our artwork without written permission.
  • If you think something here copies your work, email support@wilddragon.co.in and we will look into it.

That is the summary. The numbered sections below are the terms that apply.

1. What we own

Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, we own or control the original illustrations, graphic artwork, print designs, photographs, text, logos and product presentation on this website. Our own designers create that work, or it has been lawfully assigned or licensed to us.

It is protected by the copyright, trademark, design and other intellectual-property laws that apply. Those rights belong to Bharat Sharma, trading as Wild Dragon, or to whichever rights holder we identify for that particular material.

2. Buying a T-shirt does not buy the design

When you buy a genuine Wild Dragon product, you own that physical item. Nothing else comes with it.

You do not get the copyright, and you do not get permission to reproduce, adapt, manufacture, distribute, publish or commercially exploit the artwork, print, logo, photograph or other protected material on the product or on this website.

3. What you must not do

You need written permission from the rights holder before you do any of these things with protected Wild Dragon material:

  • copy, trace, scan, extract or redraw it
  • reproduce a substantial part of it
  • change it so that it can be reproduced
  • turn it into a digital or vector file
  • print it on another product
  • upload it to a print-on-demand service or a marketplace
  • manufacture, distribute, offer for sale, or sell an unauthorised copy of it

Please also leave any copyright, trademark or rights notice where it is. Do not remove it.

And do not use the Wild Dragon name, logo, product photos, packaging or other brand material in a way that suggests we are connected to you, that we approved or sponsored what you are doing, or that an imitation is a genuine Wild Dragon product.

4. Wearing it, and selling it on

Nothing here stops you using a genuine product you bought in the ordinary way. Wear it, photograph it, post it. That is all fine.

It also does not stop you lawfully reselling a genuine, unaltered product where the law permits that.

If you do resell, please do not give the impression that you work with us or represent us, and never sell a counterfeit or an unauthorised copy as though it were genuine.

5. Other people's work

We respect intellectual property that belongs to other people, and we do not claim ownership of anything owned by somebody else.

We publish and sell names, logos, characters, illustrations, photographs and designs only where we own them, or where we hold the commercial rights we need.

One thing worth saying plainly: labelling something "fan art", "parody" or "no affiliation" does not by itself create permission to use another person's protected material. It is a common belief, and it is wrong.

6. What happens if someone copies us

Copying protected material, or using it commercially without permission, may amount to infringement.

Where Wild Dragon or another identified rights holder owns the relevant rights, we may ask for the infringing listing or content to be taken down. We may also pursue an injunction, which is a court order to stop the use, damages, an account of profits, which means payment of the profit made from the infringement, delivery up, which means handing over the infringing goods or materials, or any other remedy the law allows. Knowing commercial infringement may carry further consequences under the law that applies.

Whether any particular conduct is unlawful depends on the facts, and a competent authority or court decides that under the law that applies. Nothing on this page is legal advice about your own situation.

7. How to report copying to us

Email support@wilddragon.co.in and include:

  • your name and contact details
  • the protected work you are identifying
  • the Wild Dragon page, or the other website address, that is involved
  • evidence that you own the rights, or that you are allowed to act for the rights holder
  • a good-faith explanation of your concern

We review every notice that contains enough detail, and we take appropriate action. We may come back to you for more information, because we would rather ask than remove lawful content by mistake.

8. Asking permission

Any permission or licence has to be given in writing, by the rights holder, before the use begins.

Silence is not permission. Neither is buying a product, visiting this website, sharing a post, or the fact that we did not object.
